Faith

We believe...

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, is infalible in the original writing, and is the
final authority for faith and practice.

In the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - who exists as one eternal and holy God.

God created the world in six literal days.

In the value and dignity of all individuals because we are created in the image of God, but because of the fall in the Garden of Eden, all of humanity is born in sin and in need of reconciliation with God.

Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, and was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, and now lives in Heaven making intercession for us.

The death (the shed blood) of Jesus Christ provides the only sacrifice for sin that is acceptable to God reconciling us to Him. All who believe in Christ and accept him as Savior by repenting of and confessing their sins are forgiven and receive eternal life as a free gift from God.

In the power of the Holy Spirit to purfy Christians and enable them to live victorious, holy lives.

In the immanent return (the second coming) of Christ to this earth.

In the bodily resurrection of both sinners and believers - the unjust to everlasting punishment and the just t eternal reward and blessing.

Relationships at MSCS . . .

  1. Relationship with The Lord. The primary MSCS employee mandate is a personal up-to-date experience with God. Acts 20:28 says, “take heed therefore unto yourselves...”
It is a must to represent the Lord before students, and to have a spirit of cooperation with other adults. The spiritual atmosphere of MSCS will be determined largely by the employee’s personal relationship with the Lord. Employees must feel this is where God has placed them in His service.

  2. Relationship with the School. The Administrator is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the school. The Faculty/Staff are responsible to the chain-of-command; the Administrator answers to the Executive Committee, and they in turn answer to the School Board. A spirit of love and cooperation should control all relationships.

Problems. Relational situations and problems that arise should be brought to the attention of the Administrator as quickly as possible. Problems are best solved as closely to the point as possible.

  3. Relationship with Students. The most important function each employee involves students. It is most important that each employee have an appropriate, professional relationship with each student. Therefore, each employee of MSCS will:
  • pray for students and be used of God to help them develop their fullest potential.
  • be approachable by students.
  • be fair in dealings with students.
  • view students in terms of what God is able to do through their lives.
  • encourage students to excel.
  • not place unreasonable demands on students—good sense should prevail.
